New Friendship For Golden Retriever And Bernese Mountain Dog
Creating a new friendship could actually be a tad tricky for most of us, and it wasn’t too different with these dogs. A Golden Retriever And Bernese Mountain Dog, the subjects of this story, didn’t know how to get the ball rolling at first. Within minutes though it didn’t take long to enjoy playing in the snow together.
The Golden Retriever’s named Fortune, and the Bernese Mountain Dog was Nico. They were out one snowy day, and they didn’t know how to deal with this newfound friendship.
Fortune was a little more curious about the younger Nico. Since she was older, she proceeded to check him out and look for the perfect opportunity to play with him.
Nico’s just two months old, so his size was currently smaller than his older, new buddy. In a couple of months, though, Fortune will be surprised when she sees Nico tower over her.
It’s a breed thing, but what matters most was, these two cute dogs saw a pal in each other. Fortune began to run around in crazy little circles while Nico watched her.
After a couple of minutes, Nico began to respond to Fortune’s calls for play. Dogs are easy to please this way, and we love that about the canine community.
Fortune lunged and jumped over the wide-eyed Nico, zipping and zooming every which way around him. Soon, the Bernese followed suit, but he could only lay on his back and jump around a bit.
That’s okay, Nico, we understand. Engaging another in play takes mastery and time, so it’s a great start to watch how Fortune does it.
We’re sure that you’ll be initiating these things shortly, so keep learning and observing. We’re sure you’ll get it down pat soon, and what a sight it will be!
Don’t forget to be gentle with Fortune when you’re a lot bigger than her, okay Nico? That way, you both will still get to have fun without getting hurt. Cheers on your new friendship!
