Crazy things happen during the Christmas season, and for retiree Danny Thomason, it couldn’t be more true.
December 2021 was supposed to be a quiet time for him and his dog, Yogi. It turned out to be the opposite because the Boston Terrier was stolen from his owner’s car while the retiree paid for gas. The dog’s owner felt so emotional about it.
He lived alone with his precious Yogi, so this incident was something that hit him hard. Danny and the puppy met five years ago, and they were inseparable ever since.
Yogi’s a good companion, and for someone of Danny’s age, things could get a little lonely. Fortunately, his family got him the best kind of companion around, so it’s understandable for him to miss Yogi badly.
Although it’s unknown how the thief was able to get Yogi out of the car, it’s a relief to have him back home. We won’t bother ourselves with the ugly details of the theft and just focus on this tale’s happy ending.
The family searched for their dog tirelessly, until an anonymous tipster helped to reunite the pair. Coincidentally, KHOU 11 was interviewing Danny when he received a call from the local police.
A couple of minutes later, Danny and Yogi were reunited, to everyone’s delight. We’re wiping our eyes here as well.
The puppy couldn’t help but whine with joy, and his eyes looked like they were going to pop out from so much excitement.
This one has a happy ending, but dog thefts during the holidays are rampant. If you have dogs with you during these times, stay alert, and keep them near you at all times.
This is why we really do what we do, sharing stories that warm hearts and uplift spirits. There’s just nothing like a feel-good tale!
